Shows we will be at and Results

In 2017 we will be exhibiting at Three Counties, Moreton in Marsh and Newbury (Royal Berks.)
Aubrey is judging Mid Devon Show in July and Sue will be judging Balmoral, NI, and Stafford, both in May.  Hopefully we will catch up with friends then. 

Texels

Miserden Texels had great sucess at Three Counties Show, June 12th - 14th 2015

Three lovely lambs, two rams and a ewe, by Cowal Voyager came 2nd in the group of three lambs.  Tremendous achievement for three March born lambs, reared on their mothers, can compete against early February lambs produced as embryos and reared on milky North Country Mules!  Delighted with them.

Our lovely shearling ewe, by Cowal Unstoppable, was 5th in a very strong class of over 25 females.  Our shearling ram, by Hull House Ultimate was 4th in another strong class and two of three lambs in the group class won individual awards.

Blue Texels

The Blues also had a great day.  Our shearling ewe AAS1401371 Miserden Xtra Special, by Bishops Rebel, came 2nd to the Breed Champion, who then went on to become overall reserve Supreme Champion.  A lovely gimmer who will be for sale at the Society's Worcester sale in September.
Again we had 2nd prize in the group of three lambs, all March born.  A further ram lamb, AAS1501637 Miserden Young Trevor, also by Bishops Rebel, was 2nd in a strong ram lamb class while one of the ewe lambs took 6th place in her class.
Miserden Xpo was 3rd in the shearling ram class, after giving a very good rodeo display going to, and in the ring.  Both he and the gimmer improved their manners after taking part in the Grand Parade on Saturday and Sunday.
